Oct. 2023 - The Business of a Peaceful Mind: Women’s Wellness GlampOut hosted at a private, tranquil lakeside location was a transformative 19-hour retreat designed to foster relaxation, personal growth, and community connection. The event was a massive success, bringing together women from various backgrounds for a weekend of mindfulness, wellness, and empowerment. With support from local businesses and wellness providers, the event exceeded expectations, leaving a lasting impact on both attendees and the local community.
Process & Approach: The Business of a Peaceful Mind: Women’s Wellness GlampOut was designed as a sanctuary for women to step away from their busy lives and engage in deep reflection, wellness activities, and community building. Set in a private lakeside location, the event combined the best elements of nature and luxury, offering a high-end glamping experience in an immersive, peaceful setting.
Event Design & Partnerships: The focus of the event was wellness, with each activity designed to cater to the holistic needs of the attendees. We worked directly with local service providers and New Jersey-based entrepreneurs to create an authentic, meaningful experience. The food was either prepared on-site or sourced locally, supporting the farm-to-table concept and offering healthy, fresh meals that aligned with the wellness theme.
Key partners like The Hiatachi Agency provided a unique vision board experience, encouraging guests to reflect on their goals and future aspirations. Pop Up Print Shop added a special touch by customizing all the event swag, making each item a personalized keepsake for attendees. Captured Canvas offered photo opportunities, allowing guests to document their transformative experience in the serene environment.
Local Business Engagement: The event was a celebration of local entrepreneurship, with sponsorships from women-owned and minority-owned businesses, including But-a-Cakes for delicious sweets, Plantivia Wellness for holistic wellness support, and Le Kool Champagne, Carthart, and BK Buddha for premium products that elevated the experience. Q’s Cycling contributed active experiences, while Newark Beth Israel provided health and wellness resources. YSSNetwork, my own consulting company, was also proud to support the event, contributing to the overall vision and execution of the retreat.

All meals were thoughtfully prepared with health and sustainability in mind, incorporating locally sourced ingredients to support local businesses and promote healthy eating.
